Project leader Kristin Skare Orgeret recently facilitated two talks at the annual literary festival in Norway on the 10th and 12th of February. In the first talk, she held a discussion with former Norwegian Minister of Culture and Equality, Abid Raja about his autobiographic tale of detachment from an oppressive culture. The second conversation was with French-Rwandan author Beata Umubyeyi Mairesse’s about her work Tous Tes Enfants Dispersés (All Your Children Scattered). A novel following three generations torn apart by the Rwandan genocide against the Tutsis in 1994 and their attempts to rebuild broken links.
